在維園燭光晚會台下等七百萬個認識與不相識的朋支。因為等待,時間變得有意義...(從白雙全兄學到)20年了,時間愈長,意義愈深!明晚維園見!

work 12: Waiting for a Friend (without Appointment)

Without appointment, I selected a place to wait for a friend. This time, Jacky appeared at 16:38. He asked me, “Why do you know I will walk through there?” I told him, “I don’t know… But I have waited you for a long time!”

Open the Door FOR THE PEOPLEDV NTSC, color stereo, 11min 59sec2007[informations/資料]
Most of the public space in Tokyo have installed automatic door for their entrance and exit. I found an art museum which didn't use automatic door for the main entrance. I stayed there helping visitors to open the door.

Work 12: A Seat Heated by Human Temperature

Starting from the 28th January 2003, I recorded the temperature coming from the seats of passengers just left. The warmth coming from the body of a stranger passed to me directly through a seating place, although we never know each other before or after. Recorded references include date, venue and identities of passengers (as far as possible). The data showing here is between 2003-1-1 and 2004-3-31.
